Writing Romance

Let’s get down and dirty in the genre of romance. Writers will learn multiple methods of planning romantic beats — or subverting them altogether. We’ll also discuss approaches for intimacy scenes, pacing, and characterization. We’ll learn how worldbuilding fuels romance, whether it takes place in a small town or an intergalactic cruise ship. This course contains alternative approaches to drafting and planning romance to help writers develop their own unique voice and love stories.
